"The Indian Network for People Living with HIV / AIDS (INP+) is a national network for, by and of the people living with HIV/AIDS in India. INP+ aims to improve the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS and give them a sense of belonging, political empowerment and strength of spirit. Begun in 1997 as a support group, INP+ has now grown into a singular national movement for People living with HIV/AIDS in India."

2- NARI (National AIDS Research Institute):
"The National AIDS Research Institute (NARI) was established in 1992 with the compliment and strengthens the National AIDS Control Programmes. In order to accomplish this NARI brings together a multidisciplinary team of scientists in epidemiology, public health, cultural anthropology, infectious diseases, quantitative and qualitative methodology and biostatistics and other related fields. NARI's mission also includes basic behavioral and social science research in areas that must be understood to develop appropriate HIV preventive interventions suitable in countries such as India with various cultural, ethnic and community backgrounds."
